Mulde River

crossing through Mulde river
northwards through to Saxony
used to power watermills now its towering over me
when tall ore mountains formed a natural border
between Bohemia and the horticulturists daughter
caught betwixt a sliding mirror when you see me you see yourself -
when the heart finds a home
four walls of cold hard stone
the streets you’ve come to know
a book you’ve often read
a full fond thoughtful head
in the flickers of the screen
the warmth of pleasant dreams
when the heart finds a home
when the heart finds a home
vegetables and mushrooms -herbs, nuts, sprouts and seeds
I read a book about medical plants beneath an ornamental tree
you glanced over the pages and said there's no such thing as weeds
we're just bias in judgement, so caught in the moment
we see but we don’t perceive
why would you ever wish to gamble when you only stand to lose -
when the heart finds a home
four walls of cold hard stone
the streets you’ve come to know
a book you’ve often read
a full fond thoughtful head
in the flickers of the screen
the warmth of pleasant dreams
when the heart finds a home
when the heart finds a home

We dispense defuse not eradicate forgotten things just form a pile but there is hope in every newborn child and every dying crooked smile
song by song day by day friend by friend right by wrong we will survive if we can find a better way to see the world
Gordon had only just come into power when i first laid my eyes on you and as endeavor left our atmosphere i wasn't quite sure what to do
Wise words often fall on deaf ears whilst fear always find its way why do so many powerful people trade our tomorrow
song by song day by day friend by friend right by wrong we will survive if we can find a better way to see the world

Day To Day Parde
02:57
|

I know its hard and everyone thinks they’ve got it harder
as the world sits and feasts on the emotions of each other
i used to write a song a day
now i rarely know how or what to say
living through such strange times cliche lines melody and rhymes
sleepless nights writers block and all new lows and highs
the daily run oh lord what have we become
all chasing a dream of becoming someone
love again when all hope was lost my friend
the last train is coming in somethings just take time
The sun shines through these white blinds every now and then
there's still laughter and solace in a joke shared with old friends
my heart still goes dancing when familiar sounds cascade
we’re all marching in the day to day parade
